Clint Carter, MD
Dr. Carter grew up in Whitehouse, Texas, and has always had a strong connection to the East Texas community. He earned his bachelor’s from ETBU and his Medical Degree from UT Houston. After completing his residency, he returned to East Texas and spent 15 years practicing emergency medicine. In 2016, he founded MyMD Select in Tyler to provide more personalized, community-focused care.

Stephanie Carter, PA
Stephanie grew up in Shreveport and earned her Biology degree from ETBU, where she met her husband, Dr. Clint Carter. She went on to complete her master’s in physician assistant studies at UTMB Galveston. After two years in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and 14 years in cardiology, she transitioned to family medicine in 2016 with the opening of MyMD Select.

Jamie Kirby, MD – Medical Director
Born in San Antonio and raised as an Army kid, Dr. Kirby returned to Texas for medical school at Texas A&M. She’s practiced in Tyler since 2012 alongside her husband, Dr. Jake Kirby. With nearly 20 years of experience, she specializes in urgent care, primary care, aesthetics, and teaching. Her focus is personalized, wellness-based care.

Kishla Davis, RN – Aesthetic Director
Kishla has been a Registered Nurse since 1996 with experience in hospital, acute, and infusion care. She joined MyMD Select in 2017 and now serves as Aesthetic Director for LYV, blending medical expertise with artistry to help patients look and feel their best. Kishla and her husband, JP, along with their sons, are active in their church and the Tyler community and enjoy spending time together at Baylor games.

Laura Roberts, NP
Laura, a Tyler native and UT Austin graduate, is certified in both Acute Care and Family Practice. Since 2004, she’s worked in internal medicine, ICU, and as a hospitalist. She teaches at UT Tyler and is a certified Tea Specialist. Laura and her husband, a CRNA and Army reservist, are active in the Tyler community and passionate about senior dog rescue.

Jessica Hernandez – Aesthetic Specialist
Jessica joined MyMD Select in 2021 as a Medical Assistant and has since grown into a key member of the Aesthetics team. Known for her warmth and compassion, she brings joy and reliability to both patients and colleagues. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, Daniel, and their large, close-knit family.

That’s why we’ve added many proven and effective aesthetics and vitality treatments over the years. Now, we are offering these services through our new aesthetics brand, LYV, with a focus on longevity, youthfulness, and vitality.
Our Flagship Location
is in Tyler Texas. LYV is conveniently housed inside our MyMD Select clinic—giving you access to both internal wellness and external rejuvenation under one roof. Our space is designed to feel calm, modern, and welcoming—whether you’re stopping in for a quick injection or infusion or planning a long-term treatment series.
We serve patients from across East Texas who want a more elevated, results-driven, and relationship-based approach to aesthetics.
